Abstract:
Disclosed is a riveting gun (100), comprising a body (10), a punching mechanism (20), a driving mechanism (30) and a control switch (40), wherein the punching mechanism is connected to the body and comprises a machining head (210) and a machining die (202) which is used in cooperation with the machining head, the machining die is used for positioning a workpiece to be subjected to riveting connection, and the machining head is used for loading a rivet; the driving mechanism is arranged on the body and is connected to the machining head to drive the machining head to move relative to the machining die so as to punch the rivet into the workpiece; and the control switch is arranged on the body and is connected to the driving mechanism, and the control switch controls the driving mechanism to drive the machining head to pre-press the rivet before the driving mechanism is controlled to drive the machining head to punch the rivet into the workpiece. A riveting connection method using the riveting gun for riveting a workpiece is disclosed. According to the riveting gun, the control switch is used to pre-press the rivet before the rivet is subjected to riveting connection, such that the rivet can vertically penetrate the workpiece, thereby guaranteeing the riveting connection quality and fully fixing the workpiece.
