Abstract:
This robot arm supports at a distal end a table on which a subject to be placed is placed and includes: a base; a plurality of movable elements which are connected by a plurality of joints; a plurality of actuators which are assigned to each of the plurality of joints and drives the plurality of movable elements; a control device which controls drive of the plurality of actuators; and a plurality of position detectors which detect positions of the plurality of movable elements. The robot arm is characterized in that, by control of the control device, the table can be moved between an MRI imaging position or an MRI imaging preparation position and a treatment position.
