Abstract:
A robot hand (10) comprises: a finger unit (22); a drive unit (30); and a control unit (40). The finger unit has a plurality of joints (23). The drive unit drives at least one of the joints. The control unit utilizes the drive unit to control driving of the joints. The drive unit includes a first drive unit (31) and a second drive unit (32) that act on a common joint which is mutually shared thereby, in a direction to apply force to an object. The first drive unit is configured to be more easily back driven than the second drive unit. The control unit selectively utilizes the drive units in accordance with the manipulation of an object.
