Abstract:
Provided is a code authentication system (100) wherein a collation terminal (60) acquires a code image that captures a target code (CDs) which is an authentication target, and sets an extraction area to within a region of the target code (CDs) appearing in the code image. The collation terminal (60) acquires, as an extracted image feature, an image feature to be extracted from the extraction area. An image feature that has been extracted from the extraction area of a master code (CDr), which is a genuine product, and that has been registered in advance is prepared as a registered image feature. The collation terminal (60) determines the authenticity of the code which is the authentication target on the basis of collation of the extracted image feature and the registered image feature.
