Abstract:
Provided are a robot unpacking device and an unpacking method. The device comprises a loading platform (10), a robot (20), an unpacking manipulator (30) and a folding machine (40), wherein the loading platform (10) is used for loading and feeding; the robot (20) is connected to the unpacking manipulator (30) and drives the unpacking manipulator (30) to take materials, and opens a carton above the folding machine by means of the turnover action of a vacuum suction cup; and the folding machine (40) cooperates with the robot (20) to press and fold large and small flaps of the carton. The unpacking method comprises a step of a robot (20) driving an unpacking manipulator (30) to grab a carton and a step of the robot (20) driving the manipulator (30) to place the carton above the folding machine (40) and opening the carton, and further comprises a step of the robot (20) cooperating with the folding machine (40) to press and fold large and small flaps at the bottom of the carton. The robot unpacking device has the characteristic of flexible production, and is applicable to the unpacking of cartons of various types and various specifications. In a loading process of the unpacking method, continuous material taking and feeding can be realized, and the unpacking efficiency is improved.
