Abstract:
An unmanned conveyance vehicle (1100) supports a roll (1002) on a base (1103) and conveys the roll (1002). A turret installed on a floor (1026) inserts chucks (1028a, 1028b) into the core (1006) of the roll (1002) and receives the roll (1002) from the conveyance vehicle (1100). Beam projection sections (1090, 1092) installed on the floor (1026) emit laser beams (LB3, LB4) which are parallel to the centerline (C2) of the chucks. The base (1103) has detectors (1138, 1140) which receive the laser beams (LB3, LB4). When the conveyance vehicle (1100) stops under the chucks (1028a, 1028b), the position and attitude of the base (1103) are calculated on the basis of the outputs of the detectors (1138, 1140). Then, the support sections (1124, 1125) of the conveyance vehicle (1100) move or rotate the base (1103) so that the axis (M2) of the roll (1002) on the base (1103) is parallel to and directly under the centerline (C2) of the chucks.
