Abstract:

A radial-direction passage (22) passing from an inside diameter side to an outside diameter side of a retainer (8) is provided between a rolling body (6) and an inner wall surface portion (14) of a pocket (10) facing each other in the axial direction of the retainer; the radial-direction passage (22) being a grease-collecting area used as a grease passage for moving grease deposited on the rolling body (6) to the outer-ring raceway surface (4a). The radial-direction passage (22) is composed of a crescent-shaped gap (18) between the rolling body (6) and the inner wall surface portion (14) of the inner wall surface of the pocket (10) facing each other in the axial direction of the retainer, and a segmented gap (20) between the rolling body (6) and an arcuate portion (16) at the four corners of the pocket (10).
