Abstract:
The invention relates to a rolling mill (1) for rolling semi-finished products or rod-shaped material comprising a reversing roll stand (2), whereby the rollers (6) thereof co-operate together in pairs and comprise respectively a plurality of roll grooves (16). Said rollers (6) can be displaced in a direction (y) which is parallel to the axis thereof in order to replace the respective roll groove (16). The aim of the invention is to keep within particularly strict tolerance ranges with regard to the measurements of the machined item. As a result, the inventive rollers (6) of the reversing roll stand can be adjusted individually or in pairs, respectively by means of hydraulic cylinder units (20). One or several profile measuring devices measure the outgoing profile and act as actual value transmitters for regulation.
