Abstract:
A roofing material holder allowing an efficient operation for covering a roof with a roofing material such as slates; a roof construction using the roofing material holder; and a construction method therefor. A roofing material holder (1) is used. The roofing material holder (1) comprises an attaching section (2) attached to a roofing bed(30) in the lower region, a roofing material mount section (3) extending from the upper end of the attaching section (2) to the lower side in the direction of inclination of the roof, and a roofing material locking section (4) which extends upward from the end of the roofing material mount section (3) in the lower side by an amount corresponding to the thickness of the roofing material and whose upper end is bent to the upper side in the direction of inclination of the roof. This roofing material holder (1) is attached to the roofing bed (30) and a roofing material (21) is mounted on the roofing material mount (3) of the roofing material holder (1). The roofing material (21) is supported by the roofing material locking section (4) of the roofing material holder (1) so as not to slip down to the lower side, and the upper end of the roofing material locking section (4) is locked to the upper surface of lower-side end, thereby controlling float-up thereof.
