Abstract:
Provided is a roofing panel connection structure which fits roofing panels together using a cleat, and in which a cap is not used. The roofing panel connection structure exhibits a strong connection function and high waterproof performance. An engaged part (124) is formed on the top part of an upwardly inclined part (121) that is on the left-side edge of one roofing panel (1a) from among two roofing panels (1a, 1b). A fitting female protrusion (134) is formed on the top part of an upwardly inclined part (131) that is on the right-side edge of the other roofing panel (1b). A detachment prevention part (136) is formed on the bottom end of a downwardly inclined part (135) of the female protrusion (134), and a narrow part (137) is formed on the detachment prevention part (136) at a position towards the upwardly inclined part (131). Meanwhile, an engaging part (23) is formed on the top part of the cleat (2). In a state in which the engaged part (124) of the one roofing panel (1a) is engaged by the engaging part (23) of the cleat (2), the fitting female protrusion (134) of the other roofing panel (1b) is fitted externally over the engaging part (23) of the cleat (2) so that the two roofing panels (1a, 1b) are mutually connected.
