Abstract:
A piston (4) is inserted into a housing (1) in a vertically movable manner. An output rod (6) is inserted in a vertically movable manner into a containing hole (5) formed vertically in the piston (4). The vertical movement of the piston (4) is converted into the rotational motion of the output rod (6) by a conversion mechanism (22). A guide groove (28) is circumferentially formed in the inner peripheral wall of the containing hole (5), and an engagement section (29) is formed at a circumferential end of the guide groove (28). An engagement member (31) provided to the outer peripheral wall of the output rod (6) faces the engagement section (29) of the guide groove (28) with a predetermined gap therebetween, in such a manner that the engagement member (31) is capable of coming into contact with the engagement section (29) of the guide groove (28).
