Abstract:

This terminal device receives an uplink grant and information on an upper layer, which instructs a parameter of the upper layer to be set or released, stores, as a set grant, the uplink grant, determines, on the basis of at least whether the parameter of the upper layer is set, whether an uplink HARQ operation is synchronous or asynchronous, and when the parameter of the upper layer has been previously set and the information on the upper layer which instructs the release of the parameter of the upper layer is received, the set grant is cleared.
