Abstract:
Provided is a rotary electric machine in which the vibration noise thereof due to out-of-plane deformation can be suppressed. This rotary electric machine is provided with a stator 1 comprising: a frame 4 which is an annular member; and a plurality of split cores 2 fitted and held in an annular shape in an inner diameter section of the frame 4, wherein the frame 4 is formed such that the inner diameter at both end sections is smaller than the inner diameter at the axial center section, and the fitting and fastening force between the split cores 2 and the frame 4 is greater at both of the end sections than at the axial center section.
