Abstract:
Provided is a rotary electric machine in which a capacitor does not break even when the capacitor is heated. A heat sink (30) has a recessed capacitor accommodation part (32) the inner circumferential lateral surface of which is joined to the outer circumferential lateral surface of the capacitor (24) via a heat dissipating material (42) for a capacitor, and the condenser accommodation part (32) comprises: a recessed portion (33) for an explosion-proof valve at a position facing an explosion-proof valve (60) of the capacitor (24); and a communication path (34) that provides communication between a drive circuit board (3) and the explosion-proof valve (60).
