Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a connection switching device (7) that switches the connection state of stator winding wires (11-13) of a rotary machine (1); a current detection unit (4) that detects a rotary machine current flowing through the rotary machine (1); a voltage application unit (3) that applies a voltage to the rotary machine (1); a control unit (5) that generates a voltage command to the voltage application unit (3), and outputs, to the connection switching device (7), a switching command for switching the connection state; and an open-phase determination unit (6) that determines whether there is disconnection in the rotary machine (1) or whether there is disconnection of a power distribution line to the rotary machine (1), wherein, during rotation of the rotary machine (1), the control unit (5) outputs the switching command and the open-phase determination unit (6) determines whether there is any disconnection.
