Abstract:
A rotary machine (1) comprises: a center section (2) equipped with a motor (5); a compressor impeller (32) that rotates by being driven by the motor; a compressor housing (31) that is fixed to the center section and that houses the compressor impeller; an impeller installation unit (72) that is provided to the center section and that is disposed facing the compressor impeller; and a diffuser unit (8) that is fixed to the compressor housing and arranged around the outer periphery of the impeller installation unit, and that forms a diffuser flow path. The diffuser unit is provided separate from the impeller installation unit and is fitted and joined to the impeller installation unit.
