Title:
ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/011807
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce ripple current when driving an inverter by using a continuous pulse width modulation method. An inverter control unit uses pulse width modulation according to a predetermined modulation frequency to generate modulated pulses as inverter driving signals for multiple phases of AC power. When a standard modulation period (TC) based on the modulation frequency includes a single phase active vector interval (MAV) in which the signal level of the modulated pulse of only one of the phases is at a high level, the inverter control unit uses a sub-modulation frequency higher than the modulation frequency of the other phase signals to generate the modulated pulses for the one sole phase (S1) in which the signal level is at the high level during the single phase active vector interval (MAV) in the standard modulation period (TC) including the single phase active vector interval (MAV).
