Abstract:
A rotating electric machine power supply device (100) for supplying power to a rotating electric machine (1) has: an AC power generation unit (20) for generating AC power; and a DC bias power generation unit (10) for supplying an amount of DC voltage to be superimposed on the voltage of the AC power. The voltage of the power supplied to the rotating electric machine (1) maintains the same polarity (negative or positive) with respect to the ground. The voltage of the power supplied to the rotating electric machine (1) may be a negative polarity with respect to the ground. The AC power generation unit (20) may have: a first phase transformer having a primary side receiving one phase of a commercial power supply and a secondary side outputting one phase supplied to the rotating electric machine (1); and a second phase transformer having a primary side receiving another phase of the commercial power supply and a secondary side outputting another phase supplied to the rotating electric machine (1).
