Abstract:
A rotation detection device of a yarn winding apparatus capable of reducing the causes of troubles, preventing productivity from being remarkably lowered, and capable of being reduced in size and cost, wherein a bobbin holder (2) is moved together with a turret table (1) according to the wound expansion of winding packages P on one bobbin holder (2). Rotation detected bodies (8) are installed coaxially with the bobbin holders (2) and (2’), the moving routes of the rotation detected bodies caused by the rotation of the turret table between the time of start of winding on the packages and the time of completion of the winding are overlapped with each other at least at one position for each rotation detected body, and rotation detection sensors are fixedly installed in a unit case at the overlapped positions opposedly to the detection surfaces of the rotation detected bodies.
