Abstract:

Provided is a rotor of a permanent magnet embedded motor which reduces magnetic saturation due to a slit disposed at an outer circumferential iron core portion of a permanent magnet insertion hole and is capable of reducing a torque ripple. The rotor of the permanent magnet embedded motor according to the present invention is provided with a rotor iron core which is formed by layering a predetermined number of electromagnetic steel sheets punched out into a predetermined shape, a plurality of permanent magnet insertion holes which are formed along an outer circumferential portion of the rotor iron core, a permanent magnet end void which is formed at both ends of the permanent magnet insertion hole, a permanent magnet which is inserted in the permanent magnet insertion hole, and a plurality of slits which are formed on the iron core portion, which is outside of the permanent magnet insertion holes, and a width of a slit thin wall portion in a radial direction between slits and the outer circumference of the rotor iron core is gradually increased toward the center of a magnetic pole from the side of inter-poles and changes along a sine wave having a peak of the center of the magnetic pole.
