Abstract:
A roulette game conducted by the Banker, or Croupier, who, after wagers have been made, sets the wheel spinning at the same time throws an ivory marble into the bowl in the direction opposite to that in which the wheel is moving; when the motion of the wheel ceases, the ball rools to rest in one of the compartments (1A), the emblem, number and color (2A-13A) decides the winners on that turn of the wheel. A player may bet on an emblem, number or color or several of these which are displayed on a betting board (Fig. 3). The Banker pays the winners according to the odds that exist against the type of bet made on the Cardlette Betting Board or Table.

1. The original and ornamental design for the game called Cardlette is played by any number of players against a Banker by means of a device known as a Cardlette Ball Game Wheel and Table known'as a Cardlette Game Betting Board. A game o£ chance. SUBSTITUTE SHEET.

ROULETTEGAME

A game of chance. The Game Cardlette is conducted by the Banker, or Croupier, who, after wagers have been made, sets the wheel spinning and at the same time throws an ivory marble into the bowl in the direction opposite to that in which the wheel is moving, when the motion of the wheel ceases, the ball rolls to rest in one of the compartments, the emblem, number and color decides the winners on that turn of the wheel.
