Abstract:
A purpose is to provide a rubber composition for covering a metal cord that has excellent adhesion even when exposed to a degrading environment. To solve the problem, the present invention includes a rubber component, a nitrogen-containing cyclic compound free of benzene rings and mercapto groups, and an amine anti-aging agent represented by general formula (1): [in the formula, R1 and R2 each independently are a monovalent saturated hydrocarbon group] and is characterized in that the mass ratio (A/B) of the content (A) of the nitrogen-containing cyclic compound free of benzene rings and mercapto groups and the content (B) of the amine anti-aging agent is 0.004-100.
