Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a steel cord-rubber composite having excellent adhesion between rubber and steel cord even when a small amount of cobalt is used. In order to solve the problem, the present invention provides a steel cord-rubber composite obtained by coating, with a rubber composition, a steel cord having one or a plurality of steel wires on which a plating layer is formed, the steel cord-rubber composite being characterized in that the rubber composition comprises: a rubber component; and an amine-based antioxidant represented by general formula (1) [in the formula, R1 and R2 are each independently a monovalent saturated hydrocarbon group]. In the steel wire, the content of phosphorus contained as an oxide in a wire surface layer region spanning from the surface of the plating layer to a depth of 5 nm inward in the wire radial direction is 1.5 atomic % or less.
