Abstract:
A rubber composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a natural rubber and/or a diene synthetic rubber, 10 to 85 parts by weight of silica, and 1 to 20 % by weight, based on the silica, of a particular silane coupling agent, a bis(alkoxysilylalkyl) polysulfide having a polysulfide structure with a specified sulfur distribution. Pneumatic tires made by using the same are reduced in heat build-up and rolling resistance and excellent in reinforcing effect.
