Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition which contains: a rubber component; an organic phosphoric acid compound having at least one alkyl chain; a vulcanizing agent; and, at a quantity of 0.08-2 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, a vulcanization accelerator such as a sulfenamide-based vulcanization accelerator. The content of a cobalt-containing compound is not less than 0.00 parts by mass but less than 0.01 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. By using this rubber composition, it is possible to produce a rubber-metal composite material having excellent heat-resistant adhesive properties between a vulcanized rubber and a metal.
