Abstract:
A rubber composition which comprises 100 parts by weight of an ethylene/butene/diene copolymer rubber and 2.5-7.5 parts by weight of an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a melting point of 100°C or higher and a glass transition temperature Tg of -55°C or lower. The rubber composition has improved processability concerning roll processability and tendency to be caught in screws, while retaining the compression set characteristics (95°C, 500 hours), low-temperature retraction test (evaluated in terms of TR10 value and TR70 value), etc. which are properties of the ethylene/butene/diene copolymer rubber. The rubber composition can retain excellent compression set characteristics under environments where fuel batteries are used.
