Abstract:
A rubber kneading method according to the present invention comprises: a first step for blending and kneading a raw material rubber of a reference lot and a secondary material at a specific compositional makeup to prepare a reference rubber composition and measuring a spring characteristic of a reference rubber crosslinked product which is obtained by crosslinking the reference rubber composition; a second step for blending and kneading a raw material rubber of a target lot and a secondary material at the same specific compositional makeup as in the first step to prepare a target rubber composition and measuring a spring characteristic of a target rubber crosslinked product which is obtained by crosslinking the target rubber composition; and a third step for comparing the spring characteristic of the target rubber crosslinked product with the spring characteristic of the reference rubber crosslinked product and setting a blending condition and/or a kneading condition to be employed when the raw material rubber of the target lot is to be kneaded at a product compositional makeup. Under the condition(s) set in the third step, the raw material rubber of the target lot is kneaded at the product compositional makeup to obtain a product rubber composition which has little variation in spring characteristic.
