Title:
SACK SEALING APPARATUS FOR INCREASING SACK SEALABILITY AND PACKABILITY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/073739
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sack sealing apparatus for increasing sack sealability and packability, and to a sack sealing apparatus comprising: a tape supplying reel (20), installed on one side of the top of a base (10), for supplying tape in a direction parallel to the direction in which a sack (A) is conveyed; a supplying guide (30), installed on one side of the base (10), for guiding the sack (A) in a flattened state; a conveyor (40), installed so as to be capable of rotating and conveying as a driving means corresponding along a plurality of conveying rollers arranged and installed at the top of the base (10), for grasping the front and rear surfaces of the sack (A) and conveying same; an end cutting roller (50), rotatably installed to correspond to the top of the base (10), for cutting the leading end portion of the sack (A) being conveyed along the conveyor (40); a pre-folding roller (60), installed corresponding to the top of the base (10) on which the end cutting roller (50) is installed, for forming a plurality of pre-folding lines (A1) and (A2) on the top side of the sack (A); a first folding member (70), installed on the one side on which the pre-folding roller (60) is installed, for primarily folding the pre-folding line (A1) on the top side of the sack (A) being conveyed; a guide pressing roller (80), installed on the base (10) to correspond to the passing first folding member (70), for pressing the primarily folded portion of the conveyed sack (A); a second folding member (90), installed on the base (10) passing the guide pressing roller (80), for secondarily folding the conveyed sack into a double layer along the pre-folding line (A2) of the conveyed sack (A); guiding rollers (100), installed corresponding to each other on the base (10) passing the second folding member (90), for guiding and attaching tape (T) conveyed from the tape supplying reel (20) onto the folded portion of the sack (A); a tape pressing member (110), installed on one side of the base (10) having the second folding member (90) installed thereon, for pressing the tape (T) conveyed from the tape supplying reel (20) and progressing in parallel to the sack (A) together with the folded portion; a tape tear-off member (120), installed on one side of the base (10) on which the second folding member (90) is installed, for forming a tear-off line (T1) at the near-end portion of the tape (T) attached to the sack (A); and a discharging roller (130), installed on the base (10), for pressing, conveying, and discharging the conveyed sack (A) on which the tape (T) is attached. The tape pressing member (110), for pressing and attaching tape (T) onto a boundary portion of the sack (A) having an opening portion which has been folded twice, comprises: a support (111) installed on the top of the base (10); a pressing block (112) installed to be adjustable from front to rear at a distance from the support (111) in consideration of the folded thickness of the sack (A); a heater rod (113), installed buried inside the pressing block (112), for thermally bonding and sealing the attached tape (T) by providing heat to the pressing block; a supporting block (114), installed corresponding to the pressing block (112) on the bottom portion at which the support (111) is installed, for perpendicularly holding the neck portion of the folded sack (A); and a conveying portion, installed correspondingly on the base (10), for conveying the sack in one direction. After the opening portion is folded twice, in the sealing process of the sack patched with tape on the folded boundary portion thereof, the pressing block is heated to increase the sealing of the tape, and also, the supporting block installed on the bottom of the support maintains the perpendicularity of the neck portion at the folded lower side so as to tidily package the packaging portion in order to eliminate conditions in which moisture and other impurities can infiltrate into the free spaces of the boundary portion. The conveying portion for conveying the sack does not employ the conventional chain method, but uses a timing belt for stable conveying, and also conveys without contamination of the packaging portion. Further, the guiding block formed from a Teflon material guides the timing belt and prevents the heat radiated from the pressing block from being further radiated downward so as to prevent the spoilage of the packaged ingredients and to provide the effect of giving the consumer confidence in the quality of the product being purchased in terms of the sealability and packability of the sack.
