Abstract:
This straddle-type electric vehicle (1) is an electric two-wheeled vehicle (1) in which a drive wheel (3) is rotated and driven by the traveling output generated by an electric motor (5), the electric vehicle comprising: a battery unit (60) which is a power source of the electric motor (5); and a battery case (80) that houses the battery unit (60). The battery case (80) includes a pair of a first case half (111) and a second case half (112) which are coupled separably. The separation line between the first case half (111) and the second case half (112) extends along the bottom wall of the battery case (80). The first case half (111) and the second case half (112) respectively include a first flange part (114) and a second flange part (116) which form the separation line, the first case half and the second case half being separably coupled in a state where the first flange part (114) and the second flange part (116) are engaged with one another.
