Abstract:
A saddle-type vehicle is provided comprising a throttle body with which it is possible to inhibit an increase in size in the vicinity of an air intake passage. A saddle-type vehicle according to the present invention comprises a throttle device that satisfies conditions (A) through (E). (A) A throttle valve is disposed to the right of a throttle device of a speed reduction mechanism. (B) A throttle valve drive motor is disposed to the left of the throttle device of the speed reduction mechanism. (C) The throttle valve drive motor is installed inside the outer edge of the speed reduction mechanism case, when the throttle device is viewed from the left or right. (D) The movable range of the throttle valve is installed inside the outer edge of the speed reduction mechanism case, when the throttle device is viewed from the left or right. (E) The throttle valve rotation axis line is disposed in a position differing from the rotation axis line of the throttle valve drive motor, when the throttle device is viewed from the left or right.
