Abstract:
One describes a safety device (20) for automated teller machines (10), these machines (1) being formed by at least one base (1) associated to at least one panel (2) provided with a protective covering (6), the safety de vice (20) for automated teller machines being positioned on an inner surface (9) of the covering (6) of the panel (20) of the automated teller machines (10) and comprising at least one capacitive proximity sensor (21) associated to an electronic control circuit (22), the electronic control circuit (22) being capable of interfering with functions of the automated teller machines (10) when at least one capacitive proximity sensor (21) detects an association of at least one element on the outer surface (8) of the panel (2). One also describes a automated teller machine (10) comprising at least one base (1) associated to at least one panel (2) provided with a protective covering (6), the covering (6) being formed by an inner surface (9) and an outer surface (8), the automated teller machine (10) comprising at least one safety device (20) for automated teller machines positioned on the inner surface (9) of the covering (6).
