Abstract:
The present invention relates to a safety wheel for a vehicle wheel, which allows a vehicle to be driven more safely by reducing the danger of an accident through preventing the vehicle from abruptly leaning toward a side at which a tire of the vehicle is punctured. To this end, in a vehicle wheel of the present invention that includes a tire, and an inner and outer wheel having a plurality of coupling holes fastened to a power transmitting unit of a vehicle, a safety wheel is provided that includes a fastening portion, a contacting surface portion, and a shock absorbing member, which have a diameter smaller than the tire but larger than the vehicle wheel, which are coupled and fixed to the inner and outer wheels between the tire and inner and outer wheels of the vehicle wheel, and which are spaced a certain distance apart from the inner periphery of the tire.
