Abstract:

A salient map generation method and a user terminal. The method comprises: acquiring brightness information, chrominance information and depth information about an input image; calculating gradient information about the input image according to the brightness information; generating an initial salient map of the input image according to a pre-set threshold value respectively corresponding to the gradient information, the chrominance information and the depth information; and generating a salient map of the input image according to the initial salient map of the input image. The embodiments of the present invention can achieve a millisecond-level computing speed while ensuring the accuracy of a salient map.
