Abstract:
Provided is a sample collection method by which excellent collection efficiency for samples such as blood can be attained. This sample collection method uses an examination chip 1 comprising a sample introduction unit 6 for introducing a sample, an upstream-side flow path 5 that is connected to the sample introduction unit 6, and a downstream-side flow path 7 that is connected to the sample introduction unit 6, the method comprising: a step for introducing the sample into the sample introduction unit 6; and a step for sending, from the upstream-side flow path 5 to the sample introduction unit 6, a first liquid 10, a gas 11, and a second liquid 12 in the stated order.
