Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a sample preprocessor (100) that can obtain a precise amount of sample liquid after filtering and enhance the accuracy of subsequent measurement, and the like. The sample preprocessor (100), which filters a sample liquid so as to capture a prescribed component with a filter (F), comprises a connection mechanism (2) for connecting a suction source and a sample container (S) comprising a bottle (S1) for storing the sample liquid and a cylindrical cartridge (S2) that has a proximal side connected to the bottle (S1) and has the filter (F) provided therein. The connection mechanism (2) comprises a suction terminal (22) that connects the distal side of the cartridge (S2) and the suction source and sucks in the sample liquid that is inside the sample container (S), and an attachment surface (26) that the bottle (S1) is attached to and positions the cartridge (S2) in a prescribed position in relation to the suction terminal (22).
