Title:
SATELLITE CONSTELLATION, FLYING OBJECT MONITORING SYSTEM, ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE, INCLINED ORBIT SATELLITE SYSTEM, INCLINED ORBIT SATELLITE, AND HYBRID CONSTELLATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/137341
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This satellite constellation (110) comprises a plurality of artificial satellites that respectively fly in inclined circular orbits on six or more orbit surfaces that have a common orbit inclination angle and have north-south axes shifted from each other in the east-west direction. The artificial satellites include eight or more artificial satellites in each of the orbit surfaces. Each of the artificial satellites comprises a forward-backward communication device. In each of the orbit surfaces, each of the artificial satellites forms a communication network with the artificial satellites located forward and backward thereof by the forward-backward communication device. The artificial satellites in each of the orbit surfaces pass through the north-south ends of the orbit surface in synchronization with the artificial satellites in other orbit surfaces, and form a communication network with such artificial satellites by the respective forward-backward communication devices.
