Abstract:
This school district planning device for creating a school district plan associating town districts and schools comprises: an acquiring unit for acquiring information relating to the town districts, information relating to commuting costs, and information relating to school operating costs; and a school district plan computing unit for creating a school district plan on the basis of the information acquired by the acquiring unit, using town district adjacency relationships, to form school families without generating isolated areas, in such a way as to minimize a total cost over multiple academic years.
