Abstract:

A scissor gear oil supplying structure comprises: a scissor gear 1 provided on the circumference of the distal end of a shaft 3 that extends from inside an engine body 2; a first oil channel 12 that is formed on the central axis C of the shaft 3 and extends toward the front; a second oil channel 13 that extends from the first oil channel 12 in the radial direction; an extension hole 18 that opens at the front end 3a of the shaft 3; a female screw 15 formed in the first oil channel 12 further toward the rear than the second oil channel 13; a rotating member 19; and a bolt 14 that is inserted into the extension hole 18 and the first oil channel 12 for the purpose of fastening the rotating member 19 to the shaft 3 and that is screwed into the female screw 15. Lubricating oil is guided from the first oil channel 12 to the second oil channel 13 along a gap 20 between the thread grooves 15a of the female screw 15 and the thread ridges 14a of the bolt 14.
