The invention relates to a screen printing doctor blade and to a device for screen printing. The invention relates to a screen printing doctor blade having an elastic application element and a maintaining device for the application element, said maintaining device being divided into several maintaining sections which can be moved in relation to each other when seen over the width of the application element, a leaf spring element which interconnects the maintaining sections which can be moved in relation to each other, is provided.
