Abstract:
A method, according to the present invention, for machining a screw hole in a workpiece having a sheet-shaped section (1), said method comprising: a step for providing a sheet-shaped auxiliary member (2); a step for forming a first lower hole, which has an inner diameter that is smaller than an outer diameter of the screw hole, in the sheet-shaped section (1); a step for forming a second lower hole, which has an inner diameter that is smaller than the outer diameter of the screw hole, in the auxiliary member (2); a step for affixing the auxiliary member (2) to the sheet-shaped section (1) such that the first lower hole and the second lower hole are concentric; and a step for forming screw holes (10, 20) in the sheet-shaped section (1) and the auxiliary member (2) by passing a tap through the first lower hole and the second lower hole.
