Abstract:
A seal mechanism (20A) is disposed on the outer circumferential side of a rotor (2) extending along an axis line (O), and performs sealing with respect to an outer circumferential surface (2a) of the rotor (2). The seal mechanism (20A) has a cylindrical shape, and is provided with a main body section (21A) having the rotor (2) inserted therein, and a plurality of holes (22) formed in an inner circumferential surface of the main body section (21A) such that the holes face the outer circumferential surface of the rotor (2), said holes (22) having a hole depth h within a range equal to a hole diameter d or less.
