Abstract:
This sealing member 4a used in a fuel cell sealing body consists of a crosslinked body of a rubber composition containing components (A) and (B), and exhibits a rebound resilience of 40-70%. As a result, it is possible to provide a sealing member for a fuel cell having excellent pressing crack resistance and sag resistance across a broad range of temperatures from low temperatures to high temperatures. (A) At least one rubber component selected from the group consisting of ethylene-propylene rubber, ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, and ethylene-butene-diene rubber. (B) Carbon black for which the value of the BET specific surface area (m2/g)×DBP oil absorption quantity (cm3/100g) is from 1,500-15,000.
