Abstract:
A sealing member (3) for a laundry treatment apparatus, and a laundry treatment apparatus. The laundry treatment apparatus comprises an outer drum (1), an inner drum, and a direct drive motor (2). The direct drive motor (2) comprises a motor housing (21) and a drive shaft (22). There is a gap between the outer drum (1) and the motor housing (21) and the drive shaft (22). The sealing member (3) is provided in the gap to seal the gap. The sealing member (3) forms a barrier between the outer drum (1) and the direct drive motor (2), and thus water and dust are unable to enter the interior of the direct drive motor (2) via the gap to affect normal operation of the direct drive motor (2), thereby preventing occurrence of accidents, and ensuring safe and stable operation of the laundry treatment apparatus.
