Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a search device and a search method which can detect a buried object related to a social infrastructure facility in a space-saving manner and without interrupting work. According to the search device and the search method, a transceiver for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves is mounted on a rotational shaft of a drilling device, the transceiver is rotated with the rotation axis, the electromagnetic waves are transmitted while drilling, reflected waves from a buried object are received, and the buried object is sensed on the basis of the principle of an underground radar. Thus, the search device and the search method do not require a work space such as required by a cart-type electromagnetic radar system, and can determine, from the state of the reflected waves, whether the buried object is a social infrastructure facility or just a stone without interrupting the drilling work.
