Abstract:
A self-moving robot system and a method for detecting an abnormality in a base station (200) thereby. The self-moving robot system comprises a self-moving robot (100) and a base station (200). The base station (200) comprises a housing (200) and an accommodating cavity (210) for the self-moving robot (100) to drive into and at least partially accommodating the self-moving robot (100). The self-moving robot (100) comprises: a robot body (10); a locomotion assembly (20) for supporting the robot body (10) and driving the self-moving robot (100) to move in a working area; a control assembly for controlling the locomotion assembly (20) to move and work and return to the base station (200); and a recognition assembly (30), the recognition assembly (30) being mounted on the robot body (10), when the self-moving robot (100) returns to the base station (200), the recognition assembly (30) recognizing whether an abnormality is present in the accommodating cavity (210), if yes, the control assembly controlling the self-moving robot (100) to stop returning to the base station (200). When the robot (100) returns to the base station (200), the recognition assembly (30) is configured for the self-moving robot (100) to recognize whether an abnormality is present in the accommodating cavity (210) of the base station (200), so as to control whether to continue docking, such that the reliability of the system is improved, and the use experience of users is improved.
