Abstract:
Provided is a semiconductor device capable of monitoring the states of batteries or the like. In the present invention, the individual states of a plurality of batteries inside a battery module can be easily acquired. A semiconductor device that can be attached to the electrodes of a battery or the like comprises a first substrate, an element layer, and first through third conductive layers. The element layer includes a first circuit and a second circuit, and is provided to a first surface of the first substrate. A first conductive layer and a second conductive layer are each provided to a second surface of the first substrate, said surface being positioned on the side opposite the first surface of the first substrate. The first conductive layer and the first circuit, and the second conductive layer and the first circuit are respectively electrically connected via an opening provided in the first substrate. A third conductive layer is laminated on the element layer on the side opposite the first substrate, and is electrically connected to the second circuit. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer each function as a terminal, and the third conductive layer functions as an antenna.
