Abstract:

A semiconductor device characterized in having a direct-current power source, a reference potential, first and second arm circuits serially connected between the reference potential and the direct-current power source, and a load inductor connected to the connection point of the first arm circuit and the second arm circuit; the first arm circuit having a first switching element and a plurality of first diodes connected in parallel to the current pathway of the first switching element, the second arm circuit having a second switching element and a plurality of second diodes connected in parallel to the current pathway of the second switching element, the forward direction of the first and second diodes being the direction from the reference potential to the direct-current power source, the first and second diodes being all Si diodes or all SiC diodes, and the distances between the plurality of first diodes and the output terminal of the direct-current power source being different from each other.
