Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes: a semiconductor substrate having a circuit or a circuit element; and an inductor element having a coil axis parallel to the main surface of the semiconductor substrate and arranged adjacent to the main surface.  The magnetic field induced by flow of current in the inductor element has a main direction parallel to the main surface.
