Abstract:
This semiconductor light emitting device (1) comprises: a base material (10) having a main surface; a semiconductor substrate (30) having a mounting surface (30r) jointed to the main surface; an accommodation recess part (70) that is configured from the base material (10) and the semiconductor substrate (30) and is opened laterally; a semiconductor light emitting element (50) accommodated in the accommodation recess part (70); an integrated circuit (40) provided on at least one among the base substrate (10) and the semiconductor substrate (30); and conductors (15, 16, 37) that are provided on at least one among the base material (10) and the semiconductor substrate (30) and electrically connect the semiconductor light emitting element (50) and the integrated circuit (40).
