Abstract:
A liquid mixture is prepared by mixing copper acetate (II), zinc acetate (II) and tin acetate (IV) in such amounts that the total amount of metal ions is 2.0 × 10-4 mol and the molar ratio among the metal ions, namely Cu:Zn:Sn is 2:1:1, and adding 2.0 cm3 of oleylamine thereto. Separately, another liquid mixture is prepared by adding 1.0 cm3 of oleylamine to 2.0 × 10-4 mol of a sulfur powder. The liquid mixtures are separately heated and melted at 60˚C. The two solutions are mixed at room temperature, and after reducing the pressure in the test tube, nitrogen is filled thereinto. After being heated at 240˚C for 30 minutes, the mixed solution is left unattended until the mixed solution is at room temperature. The thus-obtained product is centrifugalized and separated into a supernatant liquid and a sediment. The separated supernatant liquid is filtrated and methanol is added to the resulting filtrate, so that a deposit is formed. The deposit is collected by centrifugal separation, and chloroform is added to the deposit so that the deposit is dissolved thereinto, thereby obtaining a semiconductor nanoparticle solution.
